A good basic waffle iron Oct 18, 2008

We bought this waffle iron to replace our old GE waffle maker when the cord finally wore out from being unplugged because there was no Off switch. It has the basics like Black and Decker but a somewhat flimsy design. The three position hinge we thought might lock at different levels, but still helps adjust the width to grill a sandwich. It heats slowly, but this helps prevent burning food, too.
