By Newly Wed This item was purchased as a replacement for a very worn bamboo steamer. The inside seaming was not of the highest quality; however, did not want to be bothered with the return & waiting for a new replacement, so my husband rigged copper wiring in order to secure the inner lining so that the slats wouldn't fall out after the first use. This is definitely an item I would not have purchased had I been able to actually visually inspect the quality beforehand.

I don't know why they sized it as 10" when it actually is over 11". I needed it to be between 8" and 10" but not over 10". Otherwise, it is a very nice basket. Had to send it back because of the size.
