i have use one before and i had to have one for my self. it works great great for meat over the camp fire and to heat up water.

Decent design and price. Did the job but not without a few casualties. The slots are too wide and a few hot dogs easily slipped through..

This is a lightweight, relatively compact (for car camping, not for hardcore backpack camping) grill. It does the job, though if your fire pit is too narrow for the legs to spread all the way, it's difficult to get the top to sit evenly over the fire. Still, glad we purchased; much nicer to cook food on your own (clean) grill than on a dirty, crusty grate provided by the state park.

This was perfect for our camping trip - great price, folds flat for easy transport, and easily sits over the fire. Great for camping trips.

I wasn't very satisfied with this grill for my purposes. I'm sure it would do the job just fine if you're looking for an inexpensive grill to carry in the car to a drive-up campsite but it's not sturdy enough for frequent dependable use and it's much too big to be carried on a backpack.
