It cooks quick and clean, idiot proof operation. Only had it a week so far, if anything changes I'll update it.

Amazing waffle iron Jan 07, 2012

We are big time waffle lovers in my house. i bought a $20 waffle iron at a local store and it did the trick for a few months until i made blueberry waffles one day and then the "non-stick" coating started to chip off wherever a blueberry was. This iron was the replacement for that one and WOW, this is a huge huge improvement. i love that this iron has a floating top. the darkness is adjustable, the non-stick has never chipped and i've had it since july.the waffles are so cute too. i love that they can be broken down for my younger kids into a still waffle shape or served as a pentamer for those of us with a larger appetite.

best waffle maker ever! Jan 08, 2012
By I heart waffles This waffle maker is amazing! after a lot of fuss ordering it, I'm happy I finally got a good one. I first ordered the non-special edition of this that didn't have the fancy lid, but the first one had a chip in the nonstick coating; so returned and the next one also had the problem. Then got my money back and decided to give it one last shot and ordered this version. I was not happy it took so long to get, but at least I have it now. I would recommend that you check the coating for chips, but other than that it's a great product!

Not Grandma's Waffle Iron! Nov 02, 2010

This unit is ok. I would have preferred an old fashioned waffle maker. The waffles are to thin. I am experimenting with various batter recipes for thicker pancakes.
Works great after a year Feb 15, 2012
By DIY everything After a year it is still working great. The amazing thing is my kids use it weekly and the haven't broken it yet.
One less star because it is hard to clean around the controls and they are not waterproof.
Waffles come out great, no complaints at all.
