1Worst I have ever owned  Jan 02, 2011
By Timothy P. Koepp "none"
I am surprised at the reviews I read hear, to a degree. I was very happy, initially, with this item. It did very well for about the first 5-6 months of ownership.

I also purchased the grill cover and have kept this great mostly out of the weather, in the same conditions as any I have owned previously.

I was initially concerned about the light weight metal construction having alway owned "cast" metal gas grilles in the past. I should have followed my instincts. This thing, in less than a year, has turned into a pile of rust, everywhere. Exterior rust where the paint has failed, interior rust so bad the burners are already needing replacement, and the grill plates themself make me wonder if its safe to each anything on the surface, despite regular brushing and care.

This p.o.s. will be curbside on tuesday, waiting for Waste Management to take it away.

4Very Good Gas Grill  Aug 23, 2010
By MFMIFM
This is Char Broil's entry level model of gas grills. I've seen reviews for this grill that went from Garbage to Great. I've used it for about a month and I think it's very good for the price.

It has four burners so you can adjust your heat (using one, two, three or four burners) easily. I found that using just the two center burners on low works best for me. I also like that fact what the grills are close together so meat can't fall down into the fire box. I read one review that said they had that problem with it, but I tried to put a frozen patty between the grills and it's just not happenin'. They must have had really thin meat! The electronic igniter is also a good feature. But I'm sure like all gas grills, this will go out first.

The burners as well as the fire box are stainless steel so they will last longer that other metals. You should still cover it up during the winter months.

4Almost great  Aug 03, 2010
By Roy Stone
The only disappointment with this grill is that the grease tray area is not removable like my previous Charbroil grill. My previous grill had an entire tray with a grease collector that also slid out of that assembly. It made for really easy cleaning. I'm wondering how I'm going to clean this one without removing all of the burners. Except for that this grill is a great bargain. The stainless steel burners are so efficient I have to cook with them turned down to almost off. Really can't go wrong with this deal from Amazon. I saved over $30 on this deal as compared to where I almost ordered it at Sportsman's Guide.

5I like it!  Feb 22, 2010

I bought this thing from Lowes, paid $149+ tax (on sale) and i can't stop using it, the actual metal grill on it is alittle odd, it's about 3/8in shorter than the area it fits in so when you try to scrub & scrap the grills they bang back & forth. i love it!

5Great Grill  Jul 15, 2010
By K. Garber
One night I heard a big "FWOMP" from the deck. Fearing the worst I ran out to see my husband still standing, remaning sparse hair still on his head. The grill had an apparent backlash to being used yet one more time. So for Father's Day I went on a grill hunt. And Amazon had the best price (no shipping and handling, no delivery fees and no tax) on ths well reviewed grill. It was backordered, but it came back into stock just before Father's Day. It shipped before Father's Day. It arrived almost 2 weeks after Father's Day. It sat at Baltimore National Airport for several days. When it was delivered the delivery people could not have been nicer and it was delivered in the time frame I arranged. Assembly was easy according to my husband. The grill does an excellent job on chicken, fish, steaks, etc. and I don't know how we ever grilled without a side burner. I give the grill a solid 5 in terms of its features, assembly and function. I give amazon and the shipping process a 1 for the length of time it took to actually get the grill to our door.
