By L. Hartensteiner My wife uses this skillet almost every day. It has great depth and with the glass lid you don't have to lift the lid to see inside. Great product.

"Airedales are for me!"
I just love this pan. It has to be one the most beautiful pans made. Warning it is very very heavy(like Alton Brown says "heavy cookware is good cookware"). The thick carbon steel and copper metal provides very quick and even heat to the entire cooking surface. You never have to turn it very on very high since it heats so well and it is very easy to clean. I have almost never had much problems cleaning with it. I think I'll pass on the Chinese made stuff at Ikea.

By Jennifer A. Curran I was very excited about the copper core infusion heating advantage. But to tell you the truth I don't notice that big of a difference from my $15 Ikea pan. I have not used the Chantal pan in the stove yet, which is something I can't do with the Ikea pan. So, maybe it will redeem itself. Also, I have followed the "use and cleaning" instructions, but have a heck of a time scrubbing off anything that sticks or burns a little. Quite a pricey sticker or something that doesn't blow my socks off.
