 Good brownies, not a great buy Jun 27, 2010
I wanted a gift to send to a child in the hospital, and thought an overnight delivery from amazon would fill the bill. It was an okay idea, and the boy really liked the brownies, but these were somewhat expensive, and I am not sure that a 9-year old boy can truly appreciate gourmet food deliveries! But I learned that larger hospitals let you call their gift shop directly and have they merchandise sent to the person's room.

These were a big hit with my 90+ years old dad. I sent them to him in California (I'm in NY) for his birthday in Feb., and he scarfed them down in no time. He said they were 'bakery quality' and this guy 'knows what he's doing' (Stew Leonard, I guess!).
Back to order more as a Father's day treat. Glad he doesn't have sugar 'issues', but he did pass along the sweet tooth...

I sent these as a "thinking about you" gift to my son and his family. They were well received. They liked the blondies the best, then the chocolate with icing and last the chocolate. The price was right and they were sent out and delivered promptly, I would order this item for a gift again.

I sent these brownies as a Christmas gift. They were such a hit that the family wrote and ask where I got them, because they were going to order the brownies as a gift for someone else. High praise.

I sent this as a gift to my sister and I asked her to provide me with a review since I am too far away to taste them. She wrote..
4/5 stars, very yummy brownies, picture is a bit deceiving because they fluff with packing between the brownies and about a 1/2 inch on the bottom that they don't show in the pic (she also mentioned that there were approx 20 brownies, and were very rich so you couldnt eat more then one per sitting)
overall, very yummy!
