I put it in the trash after one use. Impossible to clean, and when you do, the black coating chips off, don't waste your time.

We purchased these racks from a home supply store for less than what Amazon wants (which I found to be unusual). As far as using these racks, they worked great in our Brinkman smoker. Some of the comments say they are flimsy, but we didn't find that to be true. Did exactly what we expected them to do. Cleaning was not a problem at all, BUT the racks were sprayed very well with oil before use and then were soaked in warm water to which had been added powdered dishwasher detergent - clean as a whistle !!!

This is hard to put together, folds up for no reason and is very flimsy. It is also hard to clean.

Come on Brinkmann, this is an embarrassment of a product. Cheap, flimsy and a waste of money. If you are serious about preparing your ribs, dry rubbing and cooking great ribs, purchase good rib racks. NOT THESE!

Granted they were charging close to $30 for this compared to the $13 or so here on amazon, but I guess that's part of dealing with a brick and mortar store. I used this item once and the ribs stuck to it and combined with the flimsy construction it was very difficult to get the ribs back out. After scrubbing it clean I put it in the top rack of the dishwasher to be sure I got all the fat off of it (which the directions said is ok to do) and when it was done washing there were rust spots all over it! I would not recommend this rib rack. I'm still searching for an affordable rib rack that would work but occasions when I make ribs are few and far between so it may be awhile.
