Good product, some flaws Oct 14, 2005

It's a fair juicer and you can use it for everyday job but there are some cons:
When we juiced the first carrots, most parts of the juicer got the orange color and wasn't gone after washing.
It adds some pulp to the juice (which is not necessarily bad).
The motor rotates so fast that there's not enough time for juicing resulting in some unjuiced left-over.
Overall, if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a decent juicer, this one is good for the price.

Good for beginners but it has its' problems Jan 23, 2006
For the money it works, fine but:
1) It leaves alot of chunks behind, pieces of fruit & veggies are not fully processed.
2)The pulp is pretty wet, it doesn't get alot of the juice out, with wet pulp it gathers up in the lid and blocks the remaining pulp from going in to the trash recepticle.
3. Cutting Blade and strainer are hard to clean.

It does a decent job for the price tag it carries Oct 11, 2005

We use this daily and working great so far. Except cleaning effort, I would say this is a good juicer for the price tag it carries.

Good choice Jun 29, 2006
By Norman Eliaser It's inexpensive, it works effectively, and I have no complaints. Other reviewers who are upset about having to clean the juicer would be disappointed with any juicer. Especially if you're going to juice carrots, it's going to be hard to clean your juicer. My tip--use a bottle brush to scrub with dish detergent and warm water.

not what I expected Jan 24, 2006
By Suzanne Lanoue So far I have tried to make apple and orange juice.
I was surprised that the machine did not come with many instructions or any kind of recipe book. I think this is the first kitchen appliance I have ever bought that didn't.
It has a lot of parts and it was difficult at first to figure out how to put it together. The juicer gets very messy, not just inside but out, when you use it.
Seems like a lot of work to make a little juice. You have to cut up the food into very small pieces because the spout at the top is not very large. It would be helpful if it was more like a food processor, where you can dump in a whole bunch at once. The machine is very powerful but makes a burning smell and is loud. It's difficult to put the food in while the machine is going because it can pop back out at you.
So far the juice I have made was not very tasty and it was very pulpy. It may be that I did not pick the best kind of fruit, though.
I'm not sure if any of this is typical of juicers or not because I've never had one before. I got it as a gift. I am looking forward to trying more and different kinds of juices.
Once you figure it out, it does snap together and apart pretty easily. The mesh is hard to clean, but the rest is easy.
