Doesn't operate, just makes noise Oct 13, 2009

"where's the quality control"
The item doesn't work at all, is very light plastic that doesn't look like it would last very long if it did work, and according to the instructions "it does not chop ice, does not whip cream, does not beat egg whites to a desirable volume, does not grind coffee beans or spices with a high oil content, does not slice or shred hard-cooked eggs, marshmallows or soft cheeses".
