This is the same model as the Magic Chef .9 Cu Ft Countertop Microwave Red MCD990R and the Magic Chef MCD990B Microwave Oven, so the reviews for those apply.

After about 18 months of minimal use and good care, my microwave stopped working. Not only is this upsetting for obvious reasons, but these kinds of appliances that are built to self-destruct after short periods of use are so bad for our environment. I'll recycle this microwave, but the next one I get will not be a Magic Chef or a Daewoo. This is a piece of junk. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
