Description:

The bamboo steamers allow the cook to prepare multiple dishes at once by stacking layer upon layer of bamboo racks. This extremely efficient system requires only one burner and one pan. Each dish (set in its own rack) can be cooked in its own time and as many racks as needed can be added. One set consists of two racks and one lid. Individual racks and lids can be purchased separately.

I have been using bamboo steamers since 1970 and this steamer is like my old ones. Some do not have the bamboo slats woven together on the racks, but this does. Some steamers are very heavy and trap in the moisture which causes the steamer to mold or deteriorate very quickly. This one is inexpensive and does a superior job.

I am not pleased with my product it came yesterday in a box without raping or any thing so that was a waste of 6 dollars in shipping and handling. Some of the wood looks old in the inside and the bamboo strings on the back of the bottom rack were out of place, the bottom rack looked worn out. I recommend you buy this product in a store so you can get one worth paying for. I just hope they send me my money back or a better product packaged well.

Great product. No problem at all. I just now need to work out other recipes to use instead of fish and vegetables.

I Love the Bamboo steamer, when I first got it I looked at it and didn't think it would work at all, but I tried it with chicken breasts and to my amazement the chicken was some of the best chicken I have ever eaten or made, it was super tender and juicy, steaming makes the food soo much better, even my frozen veggies are amazing steamed. The only negative thing is that it didn't come with instructions or how long to cook what, I had to look up how long to cook my food online but it wasnt that much of a burden. If you haven't used this before you really should!
P.S I really have never cooked before so it is easy for people who arent that experienced in the kitchen :)
